Harrogate Bus Company route 24 provides an hourly service between Harrogate and Pateley Bridge throughout the day on Mondays to Saturdays with three return journeys on Sundays.
On Summer Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays Nidderdale is also served by the Nidderdale Rambler service, linking to Lofthouse, Scar House and Middlesmoor in Upper Nidderdale, Coldstones Cut, Stump Cross, Grassington, Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey and Ripon.
A trial free pre-bookable bus service is running in Upper Nidderdale on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays until Sunday 28th January 2018. The bus leaves from Pateley Bridge King Street bus stop at 1200, running to How Stean Gorge. It returns from How Stean Gorge at 1530, calling at Lofthouse, Ramsgill and Wath for anyone who fancies a walk along the Nidderdale Way. The service is free, but seats must be pre-booked by calling 01423 75566 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
